The only thing more thrilling than being behind the helm of a ninety-footer coming into Ft Lauderdale is the view of 409 Royal Plaza Drive as it appears off the bow. I almost wish that the ten-minute, no bridge cruise in took a bit longer so I can savor this waterway framed estate. The 100′ of deep-water dockage against a quarter acre of land gives plenty of room to nestle in, even in a breeze. Being on a yacht is great but this backyard is an oasis that feels like your own private resort. It has it all: wet bar, pool with grotto, framed with tropical landscaping. Inside, you are greeted with soaring ceilings, an open floor plan, and generous room sizes. Fort Lauderdale Beach or any of the many restaurants, coffee bars, and lounges on Las Olas Blvd are just steps away.
